Welcome to the TAX JUSTICE NETWORK,
a network devoted to securing tax justice for citizens everywhere. the
network promotes research to draw attention to aggressive tax
avoidance/evasions schemes operated by corporations and a wealthy
elite, both Onshore and Offshore. These schemes enable companies and
the rich to avoid paying their fair share of taxes by shifting burdens
to the less well off. They cause poverty, degradation and economic
under development everywhere. They facilitate wealth transfers
from the poor to the rich and present a challenge to any notion of

The global TAX JUSTICE NETWORK
grew out of the European Social Forum in Florence in late 2002, and the
World Social Forum in Porto Alegre in early 2003. The network consists
of individuals and organizations from around the world, and seeks to
rally support and encourage debate around its DECLARATION.
