ACCA to get new chief executive


ACCA chief executive, one of the highest paid executives amongst the UK accountancy bodies, is to finally to retire from the Association.

ACCA president Jonathan Beckerlegge told the AGM (8 May 2003) that council is in deep negotiations with the replacement. As exclusively revealed by AABA, council discussed her replacement on 17 April 2003.

Now AABA can also reveal that the replacement will come from outside the organisation. This must be a disappointment for the other highly paid directors and a comment on their abilities.

However, the ghost of Rose will linger on for longer as she will still be there as a part-time consultant, possibly on £100,000 a year.
