With the internet technology, concerned members should be able to bypass the censorship policies of the ACCA officials. AABA encourages ACCA members all over the world to launch internet sites and develop an alternative reformist agenda. At the very least, it should urge:

• Improved services for ACCA members.
• End to the proxy voting system that has enabled ACCA Presidents to 'rig' the outcome of council election by casting 20-25% of all the votes.
• Direct election of all officeholders.
• 'Open' council meetings with members having access to agenda papers, minutes and an opportunity to question council members.
• End of the rule from London. This colonial model is outdated. Instead, each region should have autonomy, elect its own council, devise its own ethical and disciplinary policies. Each regional council should then send a delegate to a 'global' council.
• End ACCA's regulatory role under the UK's Companies Act 1989, the Insolvency Act 1986 and the Financial Services Act 1986. This has enabled bureaucrats to build empires with no commensurate benefit to members who bear the cost.
• All fee increases to be supported by a plan showing how the money is to be spend
• An official uncensored magazine that is independent of the leadership. Membership fee to be split into two parts. One part relating to ACCA membership. The second relating to subscription to the magazine. Thus giving members an opportunity to refuse the magazine if they find that its quality is poor. Currently, there is no such choice.
• Accountability of the chief executive to members.
