Elections to Council 2000

I refer to your various faxes of 1 1 February 2000.

The issue is not the number of words contained in your election address; the issue is the reference to a web site.  Such a reference would circumvent the 180-word rule, and not merely by ten or so words.  This means, therefore, that we shall only print your amended address minus the reference to the web site.

Your comments on the Register of Council Members' Interests and the Code of
Practice are noted.
