STUDENTS ALWAYS COME LAST
ACCA always markets itself as a premiere accountancy body with a large
number of students all over the world. However, it is very economical with
information.
Potential and current students are not given any information about:
-
The student drop-out rate.
-
The percentage of students who pass all exams at the first attempt.
-
The average number of exam attempts made by students in order to qualify.
-
The surplus (or profit) that ACCA makes out of ACCA students.
With such secrecy, the ACCA is now poised to enter the university degree
market through its alliance with Oxford Brookes University (not to be confused
with Oxford University). Its students have no say in electing council members
and officeholders. Unsurprisingly, their voice is not heard.
